What is the opportunity?

The Manager role is a key part of the Wealth Management Europe ('WME') Financial Control ('FC') team. It is responsible for ensuring an end-to-end financial control framework that supports the production of IFRS-compliant Balance Sheets and Income Statements.

The role includes managing 1 to 2 direct reports, supporting FC and change management activities across all WME business units, and maintaining a robust control environment.

The role requires partnering with the business and functions to address issues, implement, and manage effective action plans.

  1. Financial Control activities
  2. Head Office reporting
  3. Preparation of Financial Statements
  4. Engagement in Finance projects
  5. Manage direct reports (1 to 2 people)

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  1. Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent with an undergraduate degree in quantitative fields and relevant financial services experience
  2. Solid knowledge of banking product accounting and IFRS 9
  3. Understanding of control frameworks
  4. Strong IT skills, especially advanced Excel
  5. Leadership abilities

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, TM1, Murex, RIBS, or RIMMS
