Purpose of the role

To partner with key stakeholders and forums to oversee procurement service delivery, provide advice, and develop procurement strategies to meet business needs.

Accountabilities

• Development and implementation of the wider procurement strategy in collaboration with stakeholders and procurement domains.
• Aligning procurement strategies with the bank’s objectives and regulatory requirements through prioritization and resource allocation.
• Providing expertise on procurement policies, third-party risk, sourcing strategy, and supplier relations to stakeholders through education.
• Acting as a point of escalation for procurement service and delivery issues.
• Developing relationships with senior stakeholders to influence and improve procurement service delivery.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings, service improvements, and procurement efficiency.
• Representing procurement in strategic business change programs, acquisitions, and divestments.
