Role Overview:

We are seeking an organised and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team. In this role, you will support our Operations and Accounts departments by ensuring the efficient procurement of materials, packaging, services, and consumables to maintain smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, parts, packaging, and services
  2. Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and escalate delays as necessary
  3. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm specifications, and resolve delivery or quality issues
  4. Maintain accurate stock records in our ERP system and assist with stock counts
  5. Support continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing and inventory processes
  6. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to align supply with demand
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within manufacturing or chemicals
  • Strong administrative, numerical, and organisational skills with high accuracy
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
  • Effective communicator confident in liaising with suppliers and internal teams
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and team player attitude
