Job description

We are seeking a Property Manager to maintain both commercial and/or residential properties, liaise with our Hotels' maintenance team and General Managers, and ensure the top condition of our owned sites.

The Property Manager responsibilities include:

1. Managing a portfolio of commercial and residential rental properties, reporting to Group Directors
2. Handling quotations and ensuring repairs are completed to standard, either by in-house teams or contractors
3. Arranging visits for contractors and maintenance teams to properties, including hotels, bars, and residential sites
4. Checking requirements, costings, and authorising repairs efficiently
5. Authorising purchases within the company's framework
6. Acting as liaison between the company, tenants, and contractors
7. Submitting monthly reports to the Group Board
8. Managing damage and insurance claims
9. Ensuring rents are paid on time and taking action in cases of arrears, including evictions if necessary
10. Dealing with tenant and hotel General Manager queries
11. Maintaining licensing and compliance files, including online systems
12. Ensuring compliance actions are completed, such as audits, PAT testing, lift checks, and fire safety audits
13. Collaborating with administrators and maintenance teams to uphold high standards across properties

We require a proactive and positive Property Manager with strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise workload, and high attention to detail.

This is primarily an office-based role with visits to properties in the local area. A full driving licence and own vehicle are essential.

Proven successful experience in property management is essential.
