There are opportunities for our scientists to participate in research studies and to attend complex MDTs including pathologists, oncologists and paediatricians.

Due to service expansion, we’re now looking for a Clinical Scientist to join our close knit team. The post holder will participate in all aspects of the work carried out by the Molecular Neuropathology team which is an integral part of The Department of Clinical Neuropathology, located within King’s College Hospital at Denmark Hill. The post holder is expected to liaise with clinicians, oncologists and neuropathologists responsible for treating patients both at King’s and at our partner institutions within the London South Genomics network.

The post-holder will also have access to the Synnovis Scientific Learning and Development Fund, which aims to help fund further education and qualifications such as the FRCPath.

Applications will be considered from those close to registration.

The post holder will participate at a senior level in all aspects of the work of the Laboratory having a particular responsibility for the analysis and reporting of WGS data. The primary responsibility of the post holder is to analyse and report genetic data ensuring the timely delivery of the diagnostic service.
