Role: Plumbing Lecturer
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £32,455-£45,260 per annum including London Weighting
Post Type: Full Time

At Clarus Education, we are working with an FE College seeking a full-time Plumbing Lecturer to teach on various programmes, including NVQ Level 2, Diploma in Plumbing Levels 2 and 3 (City and Guilds / EAL Technical Certificate), and Level 1 units in Plumbing and Building Services Engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver teaching on plumbing courses to learners aged 16-18.
2. Support students' progress and achievement.
3. Contribute to curriculum development and planning.
4. Participate in college activities and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or Heating (NVQ or C&G Advanced Craft).
• ACS qualifications: CCN1, WAT1, CEN1, CKR, MET1, DAH1, CPA1, and HTR1.
• Unvented Hot Water Certificate.
• Water Regulations Qualification.
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognized by the FE sector or willingness to work towards it, supported by the College.
• A1 assessor award or willingness to undertake one.

Experience and Skills:

• Experience working in the plumbing industry.
• Experience in teaching or training in plumbing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of plumbing practices.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners aged 16-19.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in IT and curriculum delivery methods.
