Responsibilities and duties of the Domestic Electrician role

• Reporting to the Qualified Supervisor, you will:
• Install extractor fans and general electrical components in domestic properties with attention to safety and compliance.
• Carry out wiring for Solar PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps to specification, as required.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on-site.
• Travel to customer sites across the North East, North West, and Yorkshire.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately document and report work completed for audit and regulatory compliance.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Mandatory: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• AM2 Assessment
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• C&G 2391-52 - Initial & Periodic Inspection & Testing
• ECS Gold Card

Desirable qualifications include:

• C&G 2399-13/14 or LCL Level 3 in Solar PV Installation
• LCL Level 3 in ASHP Installation (Non-refrigerant)
• WRAS Water Regulations & Part L
• Competent Person Scheme (e.g., NICEIC, NAPIT)
• MCS certification
