Face to Face Social Market Research Interviewer – Mobile, with travel up to 30 miles
Have you ever wondered where statistics like “36% of Britons think the government should reduce income tax” come from?
As a Social Market Research Interviewer, you will interview members of the public, mostly in their homes. You will be provided with a device to ask for their opinions on a wide range of subjects and record their responses. We work on behalf of various clients, from government bodies to public sector organizations. Your data gathering will support improving public services, shaping governmental & corporate policies, and influencing public policy across the UK.
We regularly recruit throughout the UK. If you are over 18, personable & confident when meeting new people, have a vehicle & a valid UK driving licence, and want to earn money while impacting public policy, then this is the role for you!
Salary & Benefits:
You'll speak to a variety of people daily. Building rapport and encouraging participation are key parts of the role. Some assignments will be local; others may require travel up to 30 miles or more.
We provide comprehensive fully-paid training to set you up for success. Our training team supports you in-person on your first day and remains available throughout your tenure.

This flexible customer service and market research role allows you some control over your schedule, requiring at least 16-20 hours per week, primarily in afternoons, evenings, and weekends, when research in people's homes is most successful.
You will knock on doors to secure participation, with training provided. Engagement is facilitated by pre-written communication and flexible appointment scheduling. Participants may receive incentives to take part.
You will be assigned a large geographic area, potentially requiring travel up to 30 miles or more. Mileage is paid. Access to a car or another vehicle is generally necessary, especially for roles outside London.
