Job Description
- Systems Implementation: Lead the streamlining of the new warehouse ERP system to increase operational efficiency.
- Process implementation: Drive the implementation of new physical processes in a state-of-the-art facility.
- Transport Planning: Coordinate daily inbound and outbound transport activities with the team.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all warehouse outbound and goods-in documentation is accurate and meets compliance standards.
- Stock Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and resolve discrepancies, working closely with the Stock Controller.
- Team Collaboration: Lead the warehouse team, setting standards for operational excellence and teamwork.
- Report to the Head of Supply Chain and interact with the General Manager, Company Owners, and staff at all levels.
The Successful Applicant
- A hands-on team player ready to get involved.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A forklift licence is a bonus; training can be provided.
- Experience leading a warehouse or manufacturing operation.
- FMCG sector experience highly regarded.
- Physically capable of lifting goods.
- Experience in an automated warehouse environment is beneficial.
