  • Death in Service Insurance @ 4 X salary
  • Extensive Healthcare & Wellbeing provisions including:
    • Private Medical Insurance (no excess)
    • Dental & Optical cash back scheme

Hybrid working: Available; some office presence required throughout the week

Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hrs/week

Flexible working: Start and finish between 7:30am-5:30pm

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees, particularly across our remote engineering workforce, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policy and employment law.
  • Partner with operational leaders to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and team development initiatives.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including those tailored for mobile and field-based teams.
  • Coordinate employee relations cases (e.g., disciplinaries, grievances, investigations) with professionalism, fairness, and clarity.
  • Support the digitalisation of HR processes through automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of people analytics, reporting on trends such as retention, engagement, and performance.

  • Drive inclusion and wellbeing initiatives that reflect the challenges of field-based work, such as loneliness, safety, and flexible working.
  • Champion employee voice and engagement, using innovative digital tools to ensure field engineers are heard and supported.
  • Assist in embedding the company’s values in day-to-day people practices and communications.
  • Support social value initiatives through recruitment, apprenticeships, and community-based employment programmes.
  • Play an active role in digital transformation and change initiatives affecting people & culture.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ability to advise and influence with confidence and credibility.
  • Skilled in using HRIS platforms (PeopleHR desirable), reporting dashboards, and communication tools (e.g., MS Teams, Sharepoint).
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate metrics into meaningful insight.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
