Job Summary:

The Senior Cast Member reports to a member of the Store Management Team and demonstrates the following attributes:

  • Enthusiasm and passion for Disney products, characters, and stories, engaging Guests to provide a magical and memorable Disney experience. Shares this passion with Cast Members.
  • Warm & Approachable: Readily available for Guests and Cast Members at all times in a friendly manner, prioritising Guest interaction and support for cast members over tasks. Treats everyone with dignity and respect.
  • Energetic & Empathetic: Contributes to a high-energy environment that provides Guests with a positive, entertaining, fun, and dynamic experience. A team player that helps Guests and Cast Members at all times.
  • Knowledgeable & Positive: Exhibits great knowledge about Disney products and services and proactively shares ideas and actions with Managers and Cast Members that may positively impact the Store, Company, and environment. Communicates clearly and effectively when interacting with Guests of all ages, Managers, and Cast Members. Works fairly and trustworthily, being open with all who interact with our brand.
  • Loyal to Brand & Guest: Dedicated to delivering exceptional Guest Service and promoting the Disney Brand.

Overview:

The Senior Cast Member represents the Disney brand, engaging Guests in magical experiences throughout the Store. They set high standards for Guest Service, act as mentors and role models for Cast Members, and support store managers to create a high-energy work environment, drive initiatives, and achieve goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Show: Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards, including window displays; manage stage movements and POS checks; participate in VM standards, markdowns, recovery, and replenishment; provide feedback to ensure Disney Brand standards; maintain a neat store environment; ensure current product display; assist with stock deliveries and replenishment; participate in markdowns, event setup, and stage sets; drive key performance indicators; support Cast Members in achieving Talk-Ups; prioritize tasks; stage manage if required; meet financial and productivity goals; greet guests warmly; perform till transactions adhering to SOPs.
  • Service: Lead by example in providing guests with a Magical Experience; demonstrate product knowledge; offer friendly, accurate, and efficient service; listen and ask questions to meet guest needs; adapt to changing guest needs; use creativity and store tools to tell stories; perform scripted and non-scripted events; mentor and train Cast Members; uphold policies including Loss Prevention and Health and Safety.
  • Contribution: Follow safety guidelines; comply with company policies and local laws; maintain grooming and behaviour standards; participate in community events; support initiatives for community impact; process deliveries accurately; support management with admin tasks; observe key holder responsibilities; understand health and safety regarding manual handling and ladders; perform additional duties as needed; demonstrate passion for guest interaction; prioritize guests and tasks; possess time management and organizational skills; retail/service experience preferred; show responsibility and team leadership; experience in training others is a plus.
