Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for food and an eye for business growth? Do you thrive on building meaningful client relationships and driving revenue in dynamic, high-profile sectors? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact within our Corporate Services segment.

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Director to spearhead our sales initiatives across key city locations, including London, Manchester, and Cambridge. You will be instrumental in developing a robust 3-5 year sales pipeline, with food as a cornerstone service offering, while fostering a credible network within Professional and Financial Services.

As part of our growth strategy, you will identify business opportunities, manage cross-selling activities, and lead high-stakes bids. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to craft compelling client propositions and drive innovative solutions that position Sodexo as the preferred partner.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, ensuring a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Provide strategic leadership in promoting our brand and food offerings across various platforms, including social media.
  • Lead key accounts and project-manage new business initiatives to ensure organic growth and retention.
  • Support large-scale retention projects and re-bid activities to secure long-term client partnerships.
  • Define priorities and design the Sales Plan within the Corporate Services Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, aligning client needs with innovative, commercially viable solutions.
  • Achieve annual sales targets while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
  • Represent Sodexo at industry events, establishing a strong network with consultants, industry leaders, and potential clients.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food industry trends, a proven track record of successfully driving sales within a corporate environment, and exceptional client relationship management skills. You will be a confident communicator, adept at influencing senior stakeholders, and experienced in crafting commercially compelling solutions tailored to client needs .
