Your Day-to-Day:

• Support operations in monitoring control parameters to identify trends in chemical processes.
• Lead problem solving activities on technical opportunities relating to chemical processes.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement solutions in both processes and systems.
• Lead and engage with multi-disciplined groups at all levels of the organisation.
• Lead a team to deliver production, quality and safety challenges.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Engineering Degree (minimum 2:1)
• Preferred experience of working in a chemical and/or processing environment, keeping the environment and safety of people in mind
• Strategic mindset with the ability to keep the big picture in focus and make engineering decisions based on a good understanding of the technical detail
• Leadership skills to take a team forward and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver tasks successfully.
• Be able to develop self and the team to enable beneficial skills, knowledge and behaviours. Be able to provide and receive feedback to provide focus and results.
• Strong analytical and logical skills to be enable creativity and innovation when designing and implementing ideas.
• Be organised and able to achieve goals and set tasks for self and others within a timescale.

• Good knowledge of technology and resources to optimise work by efficiently completing research to the overall growth and/or production.
