Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Bioresources

Circa £45k depending on experience, including a 15% shift allowance, plus overtime available

Full-time, 40.25 hours per week, across a 7-day working pattern

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, you'll be part of a maintenance team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, including planned preventative and condition-based maintenance. Your work supports the safe operation of Bioresources and Water Recycling assets, contributing to wastewater treatment, renewable energy production, and bioresource development aligned with Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

What does it take to be a Bioresources Maintenance Technician?

• NVQ Level 2 in mechanical engineering or equivalent, or relevant apprenticeship
• Full UK driving license
• Experience in inspecting and maintaining gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, valves, and centrifuge equipment
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Knowledge of gas and steam systems (training provided) is desirable
• Flexible and resilient with adaptability to work hours, training, and business needs
