Transport Supervisor Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of a busy delivery service, leading a team of drivers and pickers, and motivating them to meet their targets. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as we are passionate about customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures within the Delivered Department.
2. Communicating important management information to relevant team members.
3. Maintaining a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health & safety concerns.
4. Promoting and driving the brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service.
5. Supporting the delivery manager in ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
6. Supervising, planning, and coordinating tasks to ensure effective and timely completion.

Candidate requirements:

1. Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in a warehouse or transport setting.
2. Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
3. Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
