About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of a busy delivery department, leading drivers and pickers, and motivating the team to meet targets. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, maintaining consistency among team members.
• Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health & safety concerns.
• Promote and uphold the brand image through product knowledge and customer service, ensuring company guidelines are followed.
• Support the delivery manager in vehicle maintenance and legal compliance.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.

Minimum requirements

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in a warehouse or transport environment.
• Experience working in a customer-focused setting.
• Management CPC qualification would be advantageous.
