POSITION: Sr. Director, LNG Operations & Sustainability
LOCATION: Weybridge, UK

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure safe operation of the LNG fleet.
- Develop and implement LNG procedures for onboard and shoreside operations.
- Verify and drive design and implementation of LNG systems on new ships.
- Lead energy efficiency and emissions reduction initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for fuel reduction and sustainability.
- Create strategic plans for environmental regulations and decarbonization.
- Conduct business cases for energy retrofits.
- Develop KPIs for operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Monitor and improve vessel performance through data analysis.
- Coordinate energy retrofit investments to generate savings.
- Lead data analytics initiatives to enhance voyage and technical performance.
- Conduct financial modeling for decarbonization projects.
- Drive operational excellence and cost savings.
- Develop digitalization strategies for fleet monitoring.
- Engage with industry vendors and attend conferences for intelligence gathering.
- Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Report on retrofit and hull coating strategies to executives.
- Maintain an energy technology toolbox for ongoing improvements.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Background in Marine/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- Master’s degree required; PhD valued.
- 15+ years in vessel operations, energy management, or fleet optimization.
- Strong technical, analytical, and programming skills.
- Effective communication and project management skills.
- Financial planning and analysis expertise.
- Knowledge of ship systems and long-term project management.
- Understanding of cruise line operations preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strategic and financial plans for retrofit programs.
- Explain variances from budgets with finance teams.
