Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef at Herd Steakhouse, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding culinary experience, using locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that reflect the rich heritage of Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes that align with Herd Steakhouse's standards.

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop seasonal menus.

  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes.

  • Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and work with suppliers to ensure freshness and quality.

  • Train and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.

  • Adapt recipes to incorporate the best of Yorkshire produce, showcasing creativity and passion.

Requirements:
