Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and testing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Joining a product development team working on hardware products and security solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining electronic hardware for custom security products to meet partner needs.
  • Modifying existing designs and collaborating on new product/system designs.
Development and Training

You will receive training and support, including a training budget for external courses. You will also have time allocated for innovation and research.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Experience:

  • Design and testing of analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Desirable (not essential):

  • Qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering, or a 2:2 or higher degree.
  • Experience in electronic schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Experience with RF design, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

Role Activities
