Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday) or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Work within a product development team on hardware products and security solutions.
  • Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom-designed security products.
  • Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product designs.
  • Receive training and support, with a budget for external courses, and dedicate time to innovation and research.

About You:

  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Beneficial but not essential: additional qualifications, experience in schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, signal integrity, and PCB manufacturing processes.
