Job description

As part of the Risk Team, you will be working with the Operational Risk Team as they define, assess, and manage operational risks and incidents and business continuity for Convera. This role will be responsible for ensuring that company practices are in line with Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requirements and all functions understand their ICT risk profile and manage risk within the risk appetite of Convera.


You will be responsible for:
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain an ICT risk management framework to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential ICT risks
  2. Maintain the Entity/County/Region/Global level risk registers and produce risk reporting as appropriate
  3. Support the business in ICT risk identification, assessment, treatment, and monitoring
  4. Provide practical interpretation, application, and mitigation of risk to resolve issues raised across the organization
  5. Deliver strategic projects to enhance the company’s risk culture
  6. Support delivery of a program of awareness-raising and ICT risk management training
  7. Provide written guidance, policy, and process on ICT risk management best practice
  8. Build effective and trusted leadership and stakeholder relationships across all functions
  9. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to understand their expectations and ensure that ICT risk management initiatives meet and exceed these expectations
  10. Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant Country/Region/Global level regulatory, security, and quality standards in ICT risk management practices
  11. Provide expert support in the implementation of effective Business Continuity Policy and Operational resilience practices
  12. Management reporting, data analysis and gathering
  13. Perform other duties as assigned

You should apply if you have:
  1. Excellent understanding of risk management and ICT risk management
  2. At least 8-year experience in ICT related risk management
  3. Excellent written and oral communication, including presenting technical risk information in clear, meaningful language
  4. Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders at different levels
  5. Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, and technology projects
  6. Thorough knowledge of all systems and technology used by the company as well as keeping up to date with relevant innovations in the field
  7. Strategic thinking in service of business goals and company strategy
  8. Expert knowledge of company information infrastructure and needs, as well as its role towards company goals
  9. Project management experience
