What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Marketing Strategist for a 16-month fixed-term contract to join our rapidly growing marketing team.
The Marketing Strategist will lead the Campaign and Merchandising team, responsible for globally integrated campaigns, online merchandising placements, and global partner deals distribution.
This dynamic role requires strategic thinking, team management experience, and a mix of e-commerce knowledge, digital marketing expertise, and data-driven decision-making to establish effective executional strategies. Cross-functional collaboration is central to this role, working across various marketing teams, brand, commercial, and product, necessitating excellent stakeholder management skills to drive significant business impact.
This position offers insight into all aspects of Skyscanner's integrated marketing plans and provides an opportunity to influence product roadmaps, marketing strategies, and organizational goals.
What will the role be responsible for delivering?
Strategic Campaign Development
- Develop comprehensive and innovative campaign strategies aligned with marketing goals and business objectives, focusing on key moments and flagship features to impact marketing KPIs and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to define KPIs and optimize campaigns in real-time.
- Customize campaign strategies to resonate with specific audience segments and local markets.
Digital Merchandising
- Optimize onsite merchandising strategies, implementing messaging tailored to audience needs and local relevance to build brand trust and loyalty.
- Oversee governance to ensure consistent onsite messaging aligned with audience growth and campaign evolution.
- Partner with the Product Lead on the merchandising roadmap to address needs and gaps, enhancing efficiency and results.
- Use data insights to inform strategy and oversee messaging frameworks across channels.
Partner Deals Distribution
- Lead the distribution of Partner Deals to relevant audiences, assisting partners in reaching their goals and helping users find the best prices.
- Continuously optimize distribution and governance of Partner Deals marketing to maximize impact and resource efficiency.
- Manage the distribution of partner content across channels, optimizing for results.
Team Management
- Manage a small team to execute global campaign moments and merchandising messaging.
- Support team development through goals and development plans.
- Build a confident and efficient team aligned with organizational objectives.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct research and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategies and merchandising messaging.
- Test and refine brand messaging to develop best practices and optimize campaigns.
Integrated Planning
- Plan campaigns across multiple channels with cohesive messaging and tactics.
- Develop strategies for global campaigns with local adaptations.
- Maintain consistent onsite messaging aligned with audience needs and campaign changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless campaign integration and messaging.
- Participate in channel planning forums and collaborative initiatives.
