We have an exciting role for a Math Modeller to work within the Lethality and Requirements Authority team. You'll be working with a team of 25 skilled engineers involved in modelling and lethality performance assessment, and the specification of lethal packages, which are comprised of Fuzing and Warhead sub-systems.
Circa £51,000 - £59,000 depending on experience
3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
As a Math Modeller within the Complex Warhead Centre of Excellence (CW CofEx), you will report to the Head of Lethality. Your activities will include developing lethality models, performance algorithm optimisation, and data analysis tools with visualisation in MATLAB.
