Job description

Are you ready to shape the future of data-driven decision-making at Newcastle?

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Data Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in building and proving the value of our corporate data infrastructure, supporting our evidence, evaluation, and research activities. As part of the Infrastructure for Insight and Data Maturity initiatives, you will play a key role in enabling our organisation to be data-driven and evidence-led.

About the Role

As a Data Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable, and effective corporate data platform. You will work closely with various departments to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance, and to create data standards that will support data-driven research, service delivery, and policy-making. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a foundational programme that will have a lasting impact on how we deliver our services to our residents, our city, and the region.

This role is initially a two-year fixed-term contract.
