Proposals Engineer / Tendering

We are currently recruiting for a Proposals Engineer with a background in Building Services Engineering, M&E, HVAC or industrial engineering / manufacturing.

• Salary to 48K
• 25 days holiday
• Private medical, pension
• Flexible working hours with early finish Friday

Previous tendering and proposals experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential.

The Role

• Working in a team to develop accurate and competitive proposals large, high-value engineered to order industrial solutions.
• Basic design sketches - AutoCAD
• Review tender documents and specifications
• Calculate accurate costings
• Work with internal departments to ensure proposals are accurate, technically suitable

Requirements

• Degree or HNC in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to produce AutoCAD sketches for spacial design and costing purposes
• Strong knowledge of tendering in an industrial engineering or manufacturing environment
• Previous experience either as a Proposals Engineer, Tendering Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer
