The role involves delivering specific functional service support to designated project(s) within the Stakeholder & Communications Centre of Excellence.

You’ll be responsible for:
  1. Delivering a range of function-specific performance activities on assigned commissions under supervision and mentorship.
  2. Guiding effective implementation of specialist functional frameworks/strategies.
  3. Developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and client representatives.
  4. Monitoring and delivering duties as outlined in stakeholder & communications management plans, including performance reporting and reviews.
  5. Developing areas of stakeholder & communications methodologies.
  6. Enhancing integration of stakeholder & communications disciplines.
  7. Aligning stakeholder & communications activities with Mace control centre, client requirements, and legislation.
  8. Seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  9. Assisting in delivering the strategy for the area/unit/discipline.
You’ll need to have:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to be part of a high-performing team.
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly.
  • Basic understanding of construction/delivery lifecycle and/or consultancy.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder & communications service delivery in sectors like rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Interest in contributing to business development and work-winning activities.
  • Experience supporting PMO and project controls services.
  • APM Foundation or equivalent qualification.
  • Attention to detail.
You’ll also have:
  • Experience working on construction projects and/or consultancy.
  • Experience delivering effective frameworks/strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant tools and software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Interest in data analytics.
  • Ability to create and deliver professional presentations.
  • Relevant university degree (e.g., construction, engineering) or equivalent.
  • Interest in Chartered status or membership of a professional institution like the Association of Project Managers.
  • APM Practitioner or equivalent.
