Service Delivery Manager
Welwyn Garden City
£42,435 - £44,669 per year
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Estate Services team based in Welwyn Garden City. As Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee different sites across the region, coordinating a team of approximately 12 operatives. Your daily activities will include organizing the team to work on all stock across the region, reacting to emergencies as they arise. A company van will be provided, and there will be opportunities for career development within Sanctuary.
The role includes:
- Managing the delivery of services to our stakeholders in Sanctuary
- Ensuring the team works effectively and safely
- Managing our frontline grounds maintenance, cleaning, and compliance team
- Responding positively to complaints and service breakdowns to meet customer expectations
- Supporting, monitoring, and reviewing both self and subcontractor performance
Skills and experience required:
- Full compliance with health and safety legislation; candidates must hold NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject, ILM membership, or be undertaking the qualification. Original certification proof will be required at interview.
- Recent experience managing frontline teams in grounds maintenance and cleaning
- NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or Cleaning (advantageous but not essential)
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Experience working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid UK driving license, as driving a company vehicle is involved

Salary: £42,435 per annum, rising to £44,669 after 12 months, subject to performance.
