Venatu Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Carpenter / Joiner on behalf of our client, a leading Infrastructure Support business delivering services across national frameworks including the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). This is a great opportunity for a skilled joiner to join a professional, well-established team in a predominantly workshop-based role.
Workshop joinery – manufacture of:
Doors, windows, staircases
Formwork and shuttering
Timber signposts and bespoke timber items
Occasional site-based installation and maintenance support
Maintain stock levels of timber and building materials
Ensure the workshop remains clean, organised, and efficient
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery or Carpentry (essential)
Proven workshop joinery experience (essential)
Previous experience with FM, building maintenance, or building services contractors (preferred)
Ability to read technical drawings and work to high standards
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Must be able to pass enhanced security clearance (required for MOJ work)
£15 – £19 per hour (depending on experience)
Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for extension
Workshop-based role in Manchester (M60)
Opportunity to contribute to critical public sector infrastructure projects
