Electrical Fitter

Based at Manchester International Depot

3 Month Contract

Day Shift

Ganymede Solutions is working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies, seeking to recruit an Electrical Fitter for their digital equipment installation modifications at Manchester International Depot. Ganymede Solutions is an AIM-listed recruitment agency specializing in transportation, infrastructure, construction, and engineering sectors.

You will work on a multi-million-pound digitalization upgrade project, finalizing modifications to digital equipment and facilities for the fleet of a leading UK TOC.

The Role:

• Carry out electrical installations and testing for digital modifications upgrades.
• Work on Wi-Fi, ethernet backbone, NVR/CCTV, passenger information systems, USB sockets, and driver’s cab upgrades.

The position is days only, Monday to Friday, with a standard 50-hour workweek.

Requirements:

• Minimum C&G/NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification.
• At least 3 years of rolling stock experience.

• Availability to start between 26th May and 2nd June.
• Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol test and a full railway medical (including sight, hearing, color vision, heart, lungs, brain).
• Provide Right to Work documentation before deployment.
• Helpful and positive attitude.
