Your day-to-day will include:

  1. Ensure all works are procured, planned, and carried out safely in accordance with project requirements and UK law.
  2. Manage the successful completion of the project/area under control in line with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints. Ensure the design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements as a minimum.
  3. Provide leadership for the project team members within your area of control, setting clear expectations, offering guidance and feedback to maximise the performance of the team and ensure objectives are met, managing performance accordingly.
  4. Contribute to the identification of project risks and opportunities, supporting project team members, providing suggestions, taking responsibility for the mitigation or enhancement of those within your area of control.
  5. Understand relevant budgets, commercial priorities and their implications, in relation to the job role. Ability to make sound decisions, based on clear criteria, and manage own workload in line with project goals and priorities.
