Job Description

As our next Kitchen Porter, you will:

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist in proper storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
• Assist with waste and recycling disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including regular cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Follow excellent food hygiene practices throughout the food chain from storage to preparation and service.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
