Eltek Systems is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support ongoing projects in the UK.

We are a leading independent provider of industrial process and automation solutions to the food industry, part of Vinci Energies, a £12.5 billion organization.

The Role

The project engineer will collaborate with electrical design engineers, software engineers, and technicians to ensure the successful completion of complex, quick-turnaround electrical process and automation projects for the food industry.

Your responsibilities include delivering projects from conceptual design to customer specifications, providing consultancy, software integration, installation, and commissioning within time and budget constraints.

You will be responsible for all relevant project documentation, such as planning and progress reports, and will hold regular progress meetings with the project team and liaise with third parties.

A proactive, 'hands-on' approach is essential. Strong technical understanding is required to challenge and enhance team performance across all areas.

The Person

• Experience in the food industry is preferred
• Strong technical electrical knowledge and experience, ideally with a time-served apprenticeship
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-facing experience, liaising with suppliers and clients
• Proven success in managing quick-turnaround technical projects
• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is an advantage
