Contract Manager - M&E Maintenance & Facilities Management

Salary: GBP50-55k Negotiable

Are you a Contract Manager working in the Commercial FM / Engineering maintenance industry looking for a new exciting role with a company that is rapidly growing in the South West and South Wales region?

This role will be based in the Bristol office with remote working an option. Ideally, candidates will reside within 50 miles of Bristol.

This National Facilities Services company is recruiting for a Contract Manager to run a portfolio of Commercial Office Contracts across Bristol.

As Contract Manager, you will manage a team of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers, Electricians, Commercial Gas Engineers, Carpenters, and Plumbers that cover the planned and reactive maintenance of the buildings.

You will also focus on the customer service side of the contracts within the portfolio, ensuring the customers are satisfied with service delivery and are aware of any small/minor works projects that may be required to maximize energy efficiency within the building.

Therefore, you will need to have good client-facing skills as part of this role will be to develop existing clients.

The key aspects of the role will include:
  1. Managing a team of supervisors and engineers.
  2. Overseeing all budgetary requirements for the contract including P+L management.
  3. Introducing cost-saving ideas and initiatives to ensure profitability while minimizing environmental impact.
  4. Day-to-day delivery of all key SLAs and KPIs for the various contracts ensuring we can mitigate and report on the data.
  5. Monitoring of all compliance & QSHE for all contracts.
  6. Auditing of completed and in-progress works.
  7. Key point of contact for key client contacts across the site including attending client meetings.
  8. Delivering efficiencies across the site including for energy services.
What you'll need to succeed:
  1. A proven background in delivering services across a variety of sites is essential, and good commercial awareness is also a key requisite for the role.
  2. Excellent team leadership skills and H&S competency are key for the role.
  3. Developing existing relationships and maximizing growth and service to our clients.
  4. Business development is a welcome attribute of the potential candidate.

Salary GBP50-55k negotiable for the right candidate plus car allowance.
