What You'll Be Doing

This is an exciting opportunity for an SEO Assistant to support driving organic growth within our insurance brands (Confused.com and Uswitch). You will work as part of a team, engaging in data-driven SEO activities and collaborating with Content, Product, and Marketing teams. Your responsibilities include optimizing existing pages, creating new pages, and launching new web assets to increase ranking traffic and enhance customer experience, with team support.

What We're Looking For

• Basic understanding of Google tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Enthusiasm for organic search, search engine mechanics, and ranking factors.
• Interest in building strong team relationships and a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Skills in Excel/Google Sheets with interest in further development.
• Proactive sharing of learnings and ideas.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity about how SEO integrates with other digital channels (e.g., PPC, Paid Social, Email Marketing).
• Interest in competitor research and SEO strategy development.
• Passion for SEO and continuous learning about trends, techniques, and tools.
• Analytical mindset to understand website performance and impact of changes.
• Creative problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for content and visibility improvements.
• Willingness to engage in content-focused and basic technical SEO tasks.
