We’re part of RVU. A group of online brands that include Uswitch, Tempcover and money.co.uk. As a group, we use our shared knowledge to empower people, and help them make decisions confidently across a range of household services.

What you'll be doing
This is an exciting opportunity for an SEO Assistant to get hands-on and support driving organic growth within our Insurance brands (Confused.com and Uswitch).

You’ll be spending your time as part of a team doing data-driven SEO and collaborating with the wider Content, Product and marketing teams. You’ll be optimising existing pages, creating new pages, and launching new web assets in order to capture ranking traffic to provide an excellent customer experience, all with the support of the wider team.

What we're looking for

Essentials
  • A basic understanding of Google tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Some familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog - or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Enthusiasm for organic search, how search engines work, and what influences rankings.
  • A genuine interest in building strong working relationships within the team and wider business.
  • An organised, proactive approach to planning and delivering work.
  • Comfortable working independently when needed, but also a team player.
  • Some skills in Excel/Google Sheets with an interest in developing these further.
  • A proactive attitude to sharing learnings and ideas with the team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Curiosity about how SEO fits alongside other digital channels (e.g., PPC, Paid Social, Email Marketing).
  • An interest in competitor research and learning how SEO strategies are built.

  • A passion for SEO and a drive to keep learning about the latest trends, techniques, and tools in organic search.
  • An analytical mindset - interested in understanding how websites perform and how small changes can drive big results.
  • Creative problem-solving skills - keen to spot opportunities for improving website content and visibility.
  • A willingness to get stuck into both content-focused SEO and basic technical SEO tasks.
