Graduate Field Service Engineer, Metrology Instrumentation - A home-based role in South East England. The role involves approximately 50% European travel, typically being away from home Monday to Thursday.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Graduate Field Service Engineer responsible for:

1. Service, installation, repair, and general maintenance of advanced metrology tools at customer sites
2. Providing technical support and customer training
3. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Your Background – Graduate Field Service Engineer, Metrology Instrumentation

To succeed, you must demonstrate:

• A Degree or Master’s in life sciences, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of scientific measurement techniques, life sciences, physics, chemistry, mass spectrometry, AFM, or spectroscopy
• Good computer literacy
• Basic electronics troubleshooting skills, e.g., using a voltmeter or oscillator
• The ability to learn quickly and understand complex technical topics
• Effective communication skills at all levels with customers and internal departments
