Job summary

N Family Club in Chertsey, Surrey, is seeking an Educator for Lunch Cover (20 hours per week, 11:00am–3:00pm). You’ll join a vibrant nursery team delivering the N Curriculum through play, observations and planned activities.

The role offers development opportunities, training, and a competitive pro-rated salary (£14,404–£15,891 per year). You’ll support daily routines, safety, and positive relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an early years environment.
• Level 2+ Early Years qualification (full & relevant).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and safeguarding knowledge.
• A genuine passion for education and changing children’s lives.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and positive mindset.
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning through our play-based N Curriculum.
• Support smooth daily routines – from mealtimes to naptimes.
• Create and implement development-focused activity plans.
• Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with children and families.
• Ensure your classroom is a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
• Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice.
• Be a positive role model – collaborate, motivate, and share ideas.

Our Early Years Educators should have...

• Experience working with children in an early years environment
• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant)
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a willingness to train
  Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh)
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children
• A team player with a can-do attitude and positive mindset
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service
