Job summary

Diamond Wood Community Academy is seeking an Educational Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This 15-hour-per-week role runs 9:00am–12:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, with an end date around August 2027.

You will support pupil wellbeing and learning, build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families, supervise pupils to keep them safe, assist with classroom preparation and day-to-day tasks, and help with routine ICT and admin duties.

Qualifications

• Commitment to pupil wellbeing and learning.
• Ability to build professional relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Proactive, organised and able to assist with classroom prep.
• Willingness to follow school policies and communicate with the team.
• Reliable supervision of pupils to ensure safety.
• Willingness to help with school activities, visits and day-to-day tasks.
• Comfortable using basic ICT and classroom resources.
• Willing to take on routine administrative tasks as needed.

Weeks Per year:Term Time only

Contract type:Expected end date – August 31st, 2027. However, could end earlier depending on maternity leave end date.

Actual Salary:£10,430.56 to £10,596.10 per annum

Start date:As soon as available towards end of December. Sooner may be required if an option
