Job summary

Richmond and Wandsworth Councils is recruiting Educational Psychologists for a permanent, full-time post in Wandsworth, London. Salary ranges from £53,238 to £64,512 per annum for 36 hours per week, with two positions available.

The role blends commissioned and statutory work with inclusion projects, contributing to the Experts at Hand initiative alongside speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and teachers to improve outcomes for children and young people.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist or trainee EP (Sept 2027).
• Creative thinking and teamwork across disciplines.
• Excellent communication and consultation abilities.
• Experience with children/young people and mental health interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychology across schools, statutory duties and inclusion projects.
• Contribute to the Experts at Hand offer with other professionals.
• Collaborate with SLTs, OTs and teachers to raise inclusion.
• Promote sustainable change through consultation, coaching and training.
