Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality services to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring their needs are met and their outcomes are optimised. Role Overview:

As the Education Psychologist you will play a key role within the Education Psychologist in planning and implementing SEND & Inclusion delivery plans. You will lead and manage a team, working in partnership with Educational Psychologists. Your responsibilities will include the strategic development of multi-disciplinary services in line with government legislation and West Berkshire Council's approach to SEN, Mental Health, and Wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Be part of the Children Services Senior Management Team, contributing to the planning and implementation of SEND & Inclusion delivery plans.
* Lead and manage a team, working in partnership with Educational Psychologists.
* Create and develop strategic multi-disciplinary developments in line with government and West Berkshire Council's approach to SEN, Mental Health, and Wellbeing.
* Work in partnership with the Local Authority and external agencies to ensure a streamlined approach to the delivery and implementation of projects.
* Work in partnership with schools to ensure effective service delivery and project implementation.
* Ensure services are delivered in accordance with relevant government legislation.
* Contribute to the strategic development of policies and procedures related to SEND.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND services, identifying areas for improvement.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively.
* Represent the organisation at relevant meetings and forums.

Candidate Requirements:

* Must hold a Psychology qualification.
* Proven track record of service delivery in Social Care.
* Strong commitment to working in partnership with the Local Authority and external agencies.
* Experience in working in partnership with schools.
* In-depth knowledge of government legislation related to SEND.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in IT.
* Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.
* Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
