Educational Partnerships Manager

Our Edtech platform is designed to provide students with the resources and support they need to embark on their higher education journey and help universities engage with prospective students seamlessly.

UAPP is now expanding its global footprint and recruiting across the UK and Europe to extend its services to many more aspirants.

Overview:

UAPP is looking for a driven and experienced Partnership Manager to oversee and grow its diverse portfolio of partners in the UK and abroad. In this key role, you will be responsible for onboarding new universities and service providers while collaborating with internal teams to launch innovative products and manage the existing sales portfolio effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Direction:

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking strategy for building and maintaining university partnerships that align with UAPP’s mission and long-term goals.
  • Analyse global trends in higher education to inform strategic decision-making and ensure partnerships remain innovative and impactful.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with organisational objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for university and service providers partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met effectively.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including university leadership, faculty, and administrative teams.
  • Lead regular reviews with partners to evaluate the performance and impact of the partnerships, identifying areas for improvement.

Opportunity Development:

  • Identify and secure new partnership opportunities with universities in the UK and internationally, expanding UAPP’s reach and impact.
  • Develop innovative models of collaboration to address the needs of both UAPP and its partners.
  • Collaborate with external Finance Institutions, manage contract negotiation and promote new services UAPP offers to students to universities.
  • Represent UAPP at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote and establish partnerships.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee partnership agreements, ensuring they meet compliance, legal, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement partnerships seamlessly and deliver measurable results.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or stakeholder management, within higher education and in particular universities.
  • Extensive experience in B2B and B2C sales, with a track record of achieving growth targets.
  • Financial knowledge, general knowledge of financial advice regulation and able to be fully conversant with the Openwork Suitable Advice Framework.
  • A track record of successfully creating and managing partnerships on a national and international scale.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Contract Negotiation, skilled in managing complex negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Data-Driven, skilled in working with databases like HubSpot or other CRM and spreadsheets to track high volumes of client information and student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of the higher education landscape in the UK and globally.
