Job summary

Brook is launching an Education and Wellbeing Specialist role in Thurrock. The part-time position focuses on delivering inclusive sexual health education to young people, professionals and communities across the local area.

You will work with schools, community groups and partners to deliver engaging sessions and outreach. The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across Thurrock.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and/or delivering education, training or outreach.
• Experience delivering engaging presentations, workshops or group sessions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of sexual health, relationships and/or RSE.
• Commitment to creating safe, inclusive and non-judgemental learning environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organisation and time-management skill.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car, with the ability to travel across Thurrock for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive and age-appropriate sexual health and relationships education to young people, professionals, parents, carers and community organisations.
• Engage with schools, colleges, community groups and partner organisations to provide outreach that supports young people to develop knowledge, skills and confidence to make informed choices.
• Work across Thurrock ensuring activities are accessible and engaging for diverse audiences.
