Job description

Education Support Advisor

INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Two part-time 0.5FTE (18.25 hours per week) posts are available from 4 January 2027 on a permanent basis.

The starting salary will be £34,630 per annum pro rata on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home. Staff new to the service will be asked to work entirely from campus whilst training is delivered (typically 4-6 months).

We are currently recruiting for the role of Education Support Advisor. This role is expected to take operational responsibility for the delivery of taught programmes across an assigned delivery package. This role would be allocated to a "hub" but would be expected to act as a flexible member of a wider team, offering support and assistance across all teaching and education programmes, and/or changing responsibilities and deploying expertise as required by developments of the Faculties/programmes and the needs of the service. The Education Support Advisor role has a key responsibility to ensure that the overall team complement for Education Support is working effectively to deliver a seamless and high-quality service, within any distinct programme or Faculty responsibility allocations and to broader Education Support and Student Services service standards.
