Job summary

University of Nottingham is seeking an Education & Student Experience Manager (Internal Only) for a fixed-term maternity cover. The role leads the ESE function across two departments within the Faculty of Engineering, ensuring strong student experience, events and feedback processes.

You will manage a small ESE team, drive improvements, and collaborate with staff and course representatives. Hybrid work, generous leave, and staff development are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or equivalent with demonstrable team management experience.
• Excellent change management, and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven influencing and negotiation abilities with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational ESE management for two departments.
• Line manage a small team of ESE Initiatives Officers.
• Coordinate welcome, arrival, student experience events, and assessments/feedback.
• Convene and participate in Faculty of Engineering student experience committees.
