An opportunity has arisen for an existing University of Nottingham staff member to join the Business Support, Business Systems Team as Business Systems Senior Administrator.
This role combines business systems administration with wider departmental support activities,providing an excellent development opportunity for candidateslooking to broaden their experience across systems, process improvement,financeand operational administration.
You will research, collate, organise, prepare, and edit material for inclusion in reports/documents. You will analyse operational data toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities; present findings to support decision-making; and develop dashboards, automated reports, and management information to improve operational insight.
Candidates will also build working relationships with key contacts from other schools/departmental/work units and external bodies to support work activities, provide technical advice and help as required, and ensure the maintenance of equipment and licensing of current and future stock requirements within defined limits and devolved budget responsibility.
To be considered for this role, candidates should hold an HNC or HND in a relevant subject, or have relevant experience and proven IT skills, including excellent knowledge in the use of Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams, Power Platform and be approachable with the ability to build your own working relationships within the University and with external partners or suppliers.

This is a fixed-term contract ending on 30/11/2027.

Format: There will be a 45-minute interview followed by a 1 hour Microsoft Excel and Power Automate technical assessment as shared with the advert.
