Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Bristol is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. You don’t need recruitment experience; you will learn on the job with full training and support, and you will help place candidates with schools.

You’ll advertise vacancies, search CV databases, phone candidates, build relationships, and work toward targets while earning commissions on successful placements. The role starts at £25,000–£28,000 with ongoing training and WFH Wednesdays after training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role, face-to-face or over the phone.
• Confident speaking to people and calling on the phone.
• Resilient, hardworking and motivated.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Able to work at pace while maintaining high standards.
• Genuine interest in education and working with people.
• Team player with a sense of humour.
• Early start: 7.15am.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/5 or above.

Responsibilities

• Advertise vacancies and attract suitable candidates.
• Search CV databases and identify potential candidates.
• Speak to candidates over the phone and assess experience and suitability.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with candidates.
• Qualify candidates and match with school opportunities.
• Support candidates through compliance and vetting process.
• Work closely with schools to provide the right staff.
• Keep candidates informed and supported throughout their journey.
• Work towards targets with high service and accuracy.
