Job summary

Medway Council in Kent is recruiting a Programme Coordinator – Projects to support the English and Maths department in new initiatives for adult learners and 16-18 cohorts. The role is based across Medway Adult Education in Rochester and from home, offering hybrid working.

You will lead with high-quality teaching, coaching and mentoring to develop professional practice, and you should have DTLLS/PGCE/CertEd or Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training.

Qualifications

• Relevant subject-specific maths or English qualifications and expertise such as DTLLS/PGCE/CertEd/Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring staff to support professional practice.
• Ability to develop and maintain high-quality teaching and assessment standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate English and Maths projects for adult learners.
• Support 16-18 cohorts and current provision in Medway.
