Job summary

Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation is recruiting an Education Coordinator to drive the Premier League Inspires Programme and the in‑house degree programme with USW. Qualifications

• Experience coordinating educational programmes in schools or similar settings.
• Experience mentoring youth and engaging with parents/carers and partners.
• Experience delivering accredited qualifications.
• Experience working with children and young people in education/youth work settings.
• Understanding challenges faced by high-need communities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of education programmes across partner schools, ensuring high standards.
• Support, guide and mentor education staff to deliver high-quality sessions.
• Monitor programme performance against KPIs and funding requirements, taking action where needed.
• Ensure delivery meets funders, partners and Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation requirements.
• Maintain accurate programme records, data and evidence for monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate curriculum planning and delivery aligned with agreed outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with schools, funders, partners and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on safeguarding, quality assurance and professional practice.
• Monitor quality and impact of delivery; share good practice across the team.
• Support mentoring and interventions to improve engagement, attendance and outcomes.
• Ensure DBS checks and safeguarding policies are followed.
• Contribute to programme reviews, reporting and development.
• Support wider Foundation programmes, projects and events as required.
