Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a Schools and Events Manager to lead outreach events, promote educational opportunities, and inspire students to achieve their potential within the Marketing and Student Recruitment team. You will lead a team to deliver an annual calendar of events in local schools and communities across East Kent, and coordinate college open events.

You will travel around East Kent, collaborate with diverse colleagues and external partners to raise aspirations and awareness

Qualifications

• Experience creating and delivering engaging presentations or workshops.
• Experience working with young people would be an advantage.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to plan and deliver an annual calendar of events and activities in local schools and communities across East Kent, alongside coordinating College open events.
• Travel around East Kent to meet internal and external stakeholders and deliver initiatives to learners in a range of settings.
• Collaborate with colleagues from Colleges and Business Units and external stakeholders to raise aspirations and awareness of education opportunities.
