Job summary

Henry Blue is seeking an MIS Manager for a 9–12 month contract to lead the MIS function within an education/FE environment. The role focuses on accurate learner and curriculum data, funding data returns and the delivery of timely management information for strategic and operational decision-making.

You will oversee a team, manage stakeholders, and drive data accuracy, deadlines and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with data protection and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIS in an education/FE environment.
• Strong focus on data accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MIS function to ensure accurate, timely learner and curriculum data.
• Oversee statutory and funding data returns and support funding optimisation.
• Provide accurate management information to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Identify and manage data and MIS risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and effective use of technology across MIS.
• Lead and support the MIS team and collaborate with colleagues across the College.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and statutory requirements.
• Provide oversight of examinations and assessment processes as required.
